not all potato chip flavors are created equally

Rachel and I are big fans of Salt and Vinegar flavored potato chips. When I was first
introduced to them, I was skeptical. The name doesn’t have the “wow– that would taste really good” appeal. However, once I start, I really can’t stop eating them.
Rachel came across a new flavor this week: Lay’s Dill Pickle potato chips. We decided to give it a try. The name of the flavor gives the same sort of hesitation as the Salt and Vinegar. Unfortunately, this time the hesitation is deserved. As much as I wish I could like them, they’re not good at all. I guess some things are meant to stay in a jar rather than as a flavor on a potato chip.

Micah utilized the steam roller approach quite a bit when first learning to move around.

Living in relative proximity to Quantico, we frequently see various aircraft flying over, or hear feel bombs going off on the days they’re doing their bombing (i.e., the “Noise
Advisory” days). After work a few days ago a couple planes flew over the house twice, and I didn’t recognize them. That is, until I read the paper the next day. The V-22 Osprey have been in the news this week due to their upcoming deployment to Iraq, and a couple were at Quantico for the announcement. They were pretty awesome flying over, but it would have been more impressive to see them carrying a Hummer.
