I salute your quickstart!

I should have followed my Fact Finding instincts prior to purchase. :-)

Part of your problem there is the Lays brand. They make many fantastic chips with several great flavors, but they have not mastered the unusual flavors the way some others have:
Snyders
But for the best flavors you need Tim's - you'll love their Salt and Vinegar - and I heartily recommend the Steak and Onion.
Check out these other pickle-flavored chips

I found these last year. My in-laws had them, and I had just a couple chips, and liked them. So I bought a bag. Then I discovered, that about 4 chips a day is yummy, after that it's not good.

I've seen catsup chips too, which are tomato-vinegar flavor. I didn't even try them.
