what a waste

a waste

Preparing to leave for work this morning, I was feeling proud of myself for what appeared to be an ontime departure. (I’m mentally composing a future post about what an ontime departure really means with my new commute. It may be a bit before that post happens, as I don’t have clarity on it quite yet.) I squeezed just the right amount of toothpaste onto my toothbrush, reached for the sink to slightly wet the brush, and plop– the toothpaste fell off into the sink.

What a waste. And yet, I didn’t dare try to scrape any of it off for reuse. I hope this isn’t a sign of how the rest of the day will go. Then again, it didn’t land on my shirt or pants, and for that I’m grateful. I’ll take it as a sign that today’s going to be just great.

Here ends my longest post thus far with no real substance.

If that isn’t a prototypical blog post, I don’t know what one is. Your toothpaste fell in the sink?! The horror! ;-)
